Installing amazon-efs-utils
sudo yum -y install amazon-efs-utils
Creating the Mount Directory
sudo mkdir /mnt/efs
sudo chown ec2-user:ec2-user /mnt/efs
sudo mount -t efs fs-xxxxx:/ /mnt/efs
echo $?
Specify the filesystem ID as fs-xxxxx.

Verify with df that EFS is mounted:
